Hi Thalis

At the bottom of every email to the freedos-user email list, the list
software adds this footer message:

On that web page, you'll find a link that says this:

_Click here to unsubscribe or change settings_

So just click that link to unsubscribe. Here's the direct link:

[Freedos-user] Lynx Live

2019-12-01 Thread Dan Schmidt
In an effort to demonstrate Lynx (ie - a text web browser) on Dos as a
viable, fast and fun option, I created a boot img to do so and squirreled
it away in the forgotten tunnels of the gophernet where I hope it shall
only be found by people who will not unduly pester me.

P.S. In the interest of preventing this from devolving into a "how to
gopher" thread, just go here:

Why do you think, you wasted your time?

You did the TC++ build, because you were interested in. You probably
learned a lot and your build is probably helpful for other in the
future. Who knows! Be more optimistic. :-)

Couldn't you simply unzip and write the unzipped image using dd?

I believe dd is a standard part of any Unix or quasi-Unix, including Linux and
the BSDs.
