Re: [Freedos-user] Bug in command.com
I already have the kernel build 2036 installed together with command.com 0.84pre2. But redirecting to a file really doesn't work (see my previous post) If I install kernel build 2035w and command.com 0.84pre everything works. It even works by using kernel build 2036 together with command.com 0.84pre. That's why I thinks the error is to be looked for in command.com 0.84pre2 Has someone tested this? I can send a bootable floppy-image on demand if you want to, so you can test it. Regards, Norbert. Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security? [Freedos-user] Bug in command.com
I discovered a bug in newly compiled command.com from cvs. Redirected output to a file isn't possible. echo testr:\test.txt gives error unable to redirect output to file r:\test.txt. r: is a mapped ramdrive by xmsdsk.exe By using last version from fdos.org (dated 21.05.2006) there is no error and the file r:\test.txt is created without any problems. btw. I have another small question. How can I disable the three seconds trace message for autoexec.bat introduced by the newer versions of command.com? Regards, Norbert. Using Tomcat but need to do more?
