Re: [Freedos-user] Sad messages from ArachneDevelopment
Hi Uli, Is anybody reading this? http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/ArachneDevelopment/message/4093 Trying to summarize... Somebody complains that too many features (eg archivers) are in Arachne now, somebody writes about some problems with a server, and at the bottom of the page, somebody says that several key developers of Arachne are unavailable or gone, making it likely that there will be no future Arachne versions any more...? Is that what you wanted to say by pasting that URL? Is it some digest of a mailing list, forum or IRC channel? Well it would be nice if Arachne development would go on, obviously, so maybe somebody who is reading this here wants to help out or suggest things? As far as I remember, there are also spin-off versions with Java Script, CSS or compiled for 32bit DPMI? I have simply been putting-off making the 'official announcement'. I have spent eight years now working on Arachne development. It is now time for me to move on. -- SF.Net email is Sponsored by MIX09, March 18-20, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The future of the web can't happen without you.
