Hi...

Bugzilla knows that but...

I disagree. A motivated FreeDOS USER can test the conditions under which
the Turbo C++ 3.0 IDE crashes. Updating kernel (http://fdos.org/kernel/
recommended version is stable 8086 FAT32) and EMM386 / HIMEM might just as
well already fix the problem - the original bug report is quite old now.
If the crash happens even without EMM386 or even without EMM386 and HIMEM,
then the Turbo C++ 3.0 DOS extender has a problem with our KERNEL
in general. It is also quite "normal" for DOS extenders to have
problems if too much RAM is available. Please check the HIMEM /?
message and try things like /MAX=15M or /NOABOVE16 or /X or /X2MAX32
or a combination of them to make Turbo C++ happy.

So no need to give up only because no FreeDOS DEVELOPERS have both
Turbo C++ 3.0 and the motivation to FIX the problem - there can be
ways to avoid the problem with methods that do not involve programming
at all if we are lucky, but we need a TESTER who has Turbo C++ 3.0 for
that!
