Hi

I have been mulling over the possibility of using an alternative file
system with FreeDOS.
In case anyone asks "what's wrong with the default file system?" I
will just say, nothing "wrong", but it lacks some features. Extended
attributes, for one.
The LEAN file system (http://freedos-32.sourceforge.net/lean/) looks
quite appealing.
Does anyone know if it can be used with FreeDOS?

The author claims that the user-mode file system driver library
included in the package is cross-platform, so it should/may be usable
in FreeDOS (just a guess). Can anyone please confirm/disprove this?

Also, what other file systems with extended attributes are there,
which can be used with FreeDOS?

Thanks

Alex
