[Freedos-user] Maybe stupid question (LBA48)...

Hi there,

maybe it is just a stupid question, but is there a way to find out 
whether a mainboard bios supports LBA48 or not? I mean is it sufficient 
to hook up a hard disk of 160 GB or more and see if it gets detected 
with the proper size? I am asking because I assume that FreeDOS relies 
on bios functions to access hard disks and if those do not support 
LBA48, FreeDOS cannot do anything about that, right?
