Well, no, it emulates for example an Olivetti M-24, which isn't really 
an IBM compatible PC. Unfortunately, the list of provided ROMs isn't 
very descriptive to tell easily if it supports any other non-compatible 
ones.
And the supported image formats include the HDI format, which is 
commonly used for PC-98 based systems...


But the best bet for any PC-98 emulation is probably Neko II 
https://www.yui.ne.jp/np2/, though a bit tough if you are 
Kanji/Katagana/Hiragana challenged :-P
