Jim just announced this in News for you.

BTW, I'm a bit busy at the moment, so I can't (comfortably) access
iBiblio via ssh, but now that FDNPKG replaces FDPKG in "UTIL", it
should probably be mirrored.

http://www.freedos.org/software/?prog=fdnpkg

However, I don't see any obvious place for it. Or at least, the only
copy on iBiblio is apparently an older one. So feel free to update it
manually (or I'll try to do it myself one of these days, probably):

Hi,

Yes, this is a feature that i was thinking for a long time now.
However it doesn't replace the tool that Matej did, since the latter have a
very specialized purpose of getting only packages that you miss. The offline
repo of Fdnpkg is a more generic approach. Choice is always good :)

Great! This is really welcome feature addition. As you as you could see,
earlier in the list, people start writing their own tools for this
purpose. Very nice indeed.

Re: [Freedos-user] FDNPKG - New version, new features

2013-06-19 Thread Mateusz Viste
Hi,

Since now, I will also periodically compute an ISO with all FDNPKG
repositories. This makes it easy to download all the up to date packages
in one file, burn it on a CD, and feed FDNPKG with on offline FreeDOS
systems.

The ISO is here:
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/freedos/files/distributions/1.1/repos
