Hi, all! A new release of GNU FreeFont is coming shortly -- after so many years. Some legal issues have recently been worked out, and a long series of bugfixes are just about finished.
Please have a look at recent SVN and let me know of any severe problems you see, such as build problems, or something so wrong with characters as to make some range unusable for rendering text in a language. In the next week, I mean to go through all the text ranges myself one more time, but the more eyes, the better. I will also mark a lot of bug reports as "fixed". This will result in some of the most active participants getting a full email inbox. If nobody objects, I'll just go ahead. Beside that, I have a lot of work to do, such as updating the CHANGES file, and getting the new web pages together. More soon!
