Wow! This was like one of those "How many difference can you spot" tests
that you can sometimes find in magazines. At first it looked all the same
to me, but after a while I started to notice viramas hanging at different
places. Thank you very much for the testing you have done!

That's very nice to hear. This is important not only for Devanagari, but 
it means that in general I have learned how to merge fonts with FontForge 
in such a way that anchor points and classes are preserved. This is likely 
to come handy for other Indic scripts as well.
