Hello there,
when I deploy the freeipa-client to hosts behind a haproxy most of the
hostnames get changed to the rDNS entry of the haproxy. The
freeipa-clients get enrolled with this name. I know I can set --hostname
but how to do this with ansible-freeipa?
Thanks in advance & best regards
Uli

Hello,
I'm trying to automate freeipa-client installation on Ubuntu with custom
script using MAAS as follow :
HOSTNAME=$(hostname)
IP=$(hostname -i | awk '{print $1}')
echo "$HOSTNAME.example.com" > /etc/hostname
FQDN="$HOSTNAME.example.com"
echo "FQDN is: $FQDN"
sed -i "1 i\
$IP $FQDN $HOSTNAME"
Hi,
I have seen that freeIPA is no longer available on openSUSE (since 2015).
The project I am working on has to be based on openSUSE distro and I wish I
could use FreeIPA as Identity management.
Does anyone has feedback on freeIPA server deployment on openSUSE (from
freeIPA sources for example
I know I have sent in multiple emails, but we are trying to deploy FreeIPA
correctly. However I am getting asked to find out some other details.
Can FreeIPA survive w/o DNS? We would like to implement FreeIPA and still be
able to use the SSH, sudo, selinux, LDAP & krb5.
We are moving to AWS
