Public bug reported: Hi,
running on CentOS/RHEL 6 the stable FreeIPA Server version 3.0.0 Using an ipa client from 12.04 works as expected. Now I am testing enrolling of Raring and Saucy in FreeIPA and this fails. Client Version is 2.47 (from 3.1.2 pkg) and server version is 2.46 (from RHEL/CentOS 6 3.0.0 pkg) This is no good, because RHEL6/CentOS are the only enterprise distros out there, which do have a working freeipa server (I don't want to use Fedora in a large enterprise environment ;)) So, how can we address this, without using unsupported packages from elsewhere on CentOS/RHEL or backporting the old freeipa client from 12.04 ** Affects: freeipa (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of FreeIPA, which is subscribed to freeipa in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1202654 Title: ipa client on ubuntu 13.04 doesn't work with ipa server on centos/rhel 6 Status in “freeipa” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hi, running on CentOS/RHEL 6 the stable FreeIPA Server version 3.0.0 Using an ipa client from 12.04 works as expected.
