[Freeipa] [Bug 1492229] Re: automount error due to syntax error in nsswitch.conf after ipa-client-install
There are other problems with the packaging in trusty though. The scripts haven't been modified to reflect ubuntu's naming and file convention. They refer to RHEL/Fedora's. Setting up ipa automount throws "rpcidmapd failed to restart: Command '/usr/sbin/service rpcidmapd restart ' returned non-zero exit status 1 rpcgssd failed to restart: Command '/usr/sbin/service rpcgssd restart ' returned non-zero exit status 1" Since I don't use nfsv4, autofs still works for me. I would imagine that this doesn't play nice with nfsv4 setups. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of FreeIPA, which is subscribed to freeipa in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1492229 Title: automount error due to syntax error in nsswitch.conf after ipa-client- install Status in freeipa package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: automount throws errors about an syntax error in /etc/nsswitch.conf after setting up automount using ipa-client-automount. [Freeipa] [Bug 1492229] Re: automount error due to syntax error in nsswitch.conf after ipa-client-install
..because it seems to work fine here. Ran ipa-client-automount, accepted default options and autofs is running. This is on wily, so maybe autofs got fixed since 14.04.
