I doubt it is. The question is, if the LOCAL /etc/services is applied to
REMOTE servers. It sounds logical if the port is omitted

Hello listusers,
I run v.0.5 with 2 realms forwarded to Merit based RADIUS servers and DEFAULT no
relmed requests to an Active Directory box. It runs on FreeBSD 4.5 in a chrooteed
environment.
All well, bells and trumpets, and then.. now I really need some help, and I would

Ya, I don't know much about that file either. I just made an entry that
looked about like the default one, and added it below the default one:

secret = testing123
shortname = anyname
}
And it seemed to work. It's kind of weird though, because the l

Alan,
Why do you have to write messages such as this? All I did was ask if something was
fixed and I volunteered to do any work necessary to resolve it. It this had been

fixed and I still had a problem I sure would have posted errors. I don't appreciate
this type of reaction from y

In order to get it to build though, I had to rename the modules/rlm_ippool directory

Thanks. I still get the same behavior. To make it specific let me describe
my configuration.

I guess so, but we can also do it on the list too so that others may benefit

Anyhow, I mainly just followed the instructions at:

I had to install the MySQL-devel rpm before I did anything. The only thing I

I'm running FreeRadius 0.5 (actually cvs on 03/16/2002) on Solaris/SPARC
and I'm having a strange accounting issue.
Facts:

* I'm using PAM for auth
* I'm logging accounting data to detail files
Hi,
First of all, thanks for an excellent program.
I have now, an up an running, FreeRADIUS 0.5 (as proxy) using realms and ldap for
external Auth.
My problem is when transfering this working server to a more secure "chroot"
environment.
I can get everything to run, except for the ldap module
I think I have found a bug in FreeRadius' configure script.
I have a FreeBSD-4.4 box with the ucd-snmp-4.0.1 port installed; snmp.h is
in /usr/local/include/ucd-snmp/
configure fails to locate the correct ucd-snmp include directory but still
decides to include snmp support anyway. As a result, c

Hi all,
I remember to have seen an rlm_counter patch, with mysql support, a few
months ago. Is someone thinking to include it in the next release one
day ? It would be very interesting for me.
My purpose is to have a centered counter data, with 2 radius servers (a
primary and a backup one). Any
Hi,
Thanks to all for the help, I now have freeradius and mysql working together
quite nicely :)
My only question: Is it normal to see "Info: Sending duplicate
authentication reply to client" whenever the request is rejected? Everything
seems to work great, I was just wondering if that duplicate
