I think you should take a look at this
page:
www.impossiblereflex.com/8021x/eap-tls-HOWTO.htm
it describes how to compile, install
and configure freeradius for working with eap-tls.

I don't remember where it's configurable (and if it's still possible),
but I was hopping to use a Linux specific feature to replace the proxy

Thanks Artur,
hopefully, you can help me with a couple of things here:
When the 'root' certificate runs out, what should / can I do?
- it looks like I can not extend it's lifetime?
- will a re-creation invalid the client certificates? Does a
distribution of the root.der file have to be safe?
I am using the rlm_sqlcounter module. According to the doc/rlm_sqlcounter
file, the sqlcounter.conf file their should be an A/V pair for the
monthlycounter {} directive that says 'sqlmod-inst = sqlcca3'. What is
this?
When I use it with 'sqlmod-inst = sqlcca3' I get an SQL error, however when
radwho is showing that I have users still logged in, which is not the case.
I would like to clean up the database, however, radzap does not seem to be
working. I have tried it several times and it tells me it is done, however,
the accounts still show up in radwho.
Here is the output of radwho
Hi,
don't know the best way, but I do /var/log/radius/radutmp, as long
as radzap doesn't work properly in 0.8.1.

I was wondering what the preference for time zones are for Accounting user's

I notice that the accounting tables in MySQL is logging the timestamp

Hi guys-
I can't seem to find documentation on attr_rewrite in the gz of 0.8.1. I'm
not sure I completely understand all of the fields; mostly append and

packet and config in searchin types.
OK, here's what I'm trying to do.

It looks like you might be trying to use unix passwd/shadow authentication
