Hello,
I've got a problem with FreeRDP x11 client and keyboard layout in a
ThinLinc environnement (https://www.cendio.com/)
Actually, I connect with the ThinLinc client to a Linux VM (Ubuntu
14.04.1 LTS). In the Linux session (Gnome btw), my keyboard works as it
should be.
# setxkbmap -query
This question about ZWERTY came from my client. I don't have the
keyboard here.
But when I did a grep for keyboard_layout under dfb/ it didn't look like
it was using any keyboard_layout stuff.
And when I checked the help it shows options for keyboard layout but
when I checked the code where the
Sure, and I saw the same message you report when I googled around.
The problem is that double checking by googling for "German keyboard layout"
and looking at all it returned (starting by tens of keyboard map images)
invalidated this.
All the German keyboard layouts I've found seem to be strictly b

Hi Nils,
Sorry:
I mentioned this wasn't a French layout because I'm using one all the time,
but I wasn't the originator of the question! :)
In fact, I've never seen or heard of a ZWERTY layout before, and I couldn't
find one by googling around.

Hi Gerry,
the keyboard is defined by the -k option.
i.e. "xfreerdp -k 0xB407" runs xfreerdp using a german neo 2 layout.
A list of all possible layouts is available using "xfreerdp --kbd-list".
I guess that ZWERTY is a french layout so you could try "xfreerdp -k 0x040C"

I realize that there are a few things missing in dfbfreerdp.
But, is it possible to use a ZWERTY keyboard with dfbfreerdp?
I didn't see any option related to keyboard layout so is QWERTY keyboard
the only choice?
