Hello, I need to download an older version of freesurfer (Version 5.0) on a Mac Lion 10.7.5. In the archives I don't see a file for Lion, just Leopard and Tiger. Is it possible that either of these will work for Lion? Also, are there any step by step instructions on how to install? Thanks!

Hello Krista, freesurfer v5.0 does not have a Lion build. Im fairly certain Lion did not even exist when 5.0 was released. I suggest you give the Leopard build a try, I *think* it will work, but I haven't tested it. If you download the the .dmg file the install should be fairly self explanatory.
