We have a number of Freesurfer segmentations performed with version 5.0.
Some of these will need to be corrected, most likely with adding control
points.
The question is we currently have version 5.3 running on our server. Is it
okay to add the control points and run the segmentation

I registered two images using mri_robust_register.
Is possible to apply the same transformation to another image (a mask) in
the same space as the initial "mov" image? (using the lta files?) I could
not find the information in Freesurfer site.

tips or hints on good placement of
control points, besides the ones on the tutorial. Trial and error is
suggested in the tutorial but considering the time it takes to re-run
each subject, it is too time consuming.
