Joe,
This error appears when a binary built on CentOS 6 is run on an OS with an
older glibc, like CentOS 4/5. Fsl no longer builds on 4/5 so that is why this
appeared for you recently. Update to CentOS 6 if you are at the nmr center or
use the fsl by doing this
setenv FSL_DIR
Hello,
I was attempting to preprocess a scan earlier and I got an error which
seems to indicate a problem with the version of FSL:
From this command:
preproc-sess -s nmasa_016_130111 -fsd bold -stc up -surface fsaverage lhrh
-mni305 -fwhm 5 -per-run
I get this error:

what command are you running (I mean the full command line -- hard to
debug without it). The preprocessing should not require matlab. Just
guessing, this does not look like a FS problem.

Hi,
While attempting to preprocess a subjects data I am given an error message
(pasted below) as the motion correction step is implemented does anyone
have an idea of what the libvnl_algo.so file is and where it may be

help!
I think there is some prbm in dev env?

This error appears if using the 'development' version of Freesurfer
available within the MGH NMR Center. The problem was fixed this
weekend, and you will need to re-'source' your Freesurfer environment.
Also, the 'stable' build is recommended for NMR Center users, unless
