Hallo,
has anybody tried successfully to setup a Nokia E71 (or similar symbian
S60 3rd phone) with Pjsip and TLS/SRTP?
TLS seems to work but what about the SRTP part?
Best regards
Peter

Guys, I was trying to do the same to the Pika Warp. Too bad their
support and development enviroment sucks. The best I could do (without
too much effort) was run FS without the analog support.

Thank you very much, Anthony, for such fast solution!
May I ask you - How should I activate this feature?
I have tried to grep through sources for new NDLB variable but I
didn't find one...

I haven't tested but I guess it's just like other variables and I

I would be more than willing to spend the time to verify the E71 works
but nobody has yet to send me one you're not the first to ask
about it... and since I don't have one to test with on an on going
basis I can't verify it even works.

Thanks Jason,
I do TLS/SRTP with some other Phones (Snom/X-Lite/Other_Freeswitches).
This works nad I have those crypto lines.
But I couldn't get it work with my E71 and I am struggling whether I
should invest more time into it. I am sure it's on the Symbian side.
This was just to ask if anybody
Thank you very much, dujinfang, for your help!
When I use
action application=set data=record_waste_resources=true/
the FreeSWITCH really sends back RTP stream during recording, but
instead of (faked) silence it is full of completely regular load noise :-)
I have tested it with different devices
Add something like
memset(write_buf, 0, SWITCH_RECOMMENDED_BUFFER_SIZE);
after
char write_buf[SWITCH_RECOMMENDED_BUFFER_SIZE];
in switch_ivr_play_say.c (line 395)

Thanks a lot for the pointers :)
At this point, alternatives $100 to a regular PC or some appliance like
the FritzBox or the Pika Asterisk appliance:
Planex MZK-W04NU $60
Sheeva Plug $99
(Deprecated) Linksys NSLU2 $50
Does someone know of other solutions that can run Linux/FreeBSD along with
Thank you very much, Dave, for your help!
Mentioned modification did the trick and all works as I wish :-) Thank you!
BTW: When I look into the pcap files for RTP stream, I see some strange
timing for outgoing RTP from FreeSWITCH. Every even packet is sent after
24 ms and every odd packet at 12
more efficient fix should be in tree
i just have to init the buffer one since it never changes.
