OK well I'm a bit stumped now. Having followed all the instructions, I
can't get FS to use MySQL via ODBC for voicemail storage.
Everything appears to work fine, isql allows me to connect to the
MySQL database and show the test table I created, like so:
isql -v voicemail_odbc voicemail

Hi all,
Don't suppose there's a list somewhere of all the FS default sound
files? I'm in the process of attempting to convert my installation to
British English, and could do with a reference.
If there isn't one, I guess I could put one together and put it on the
wiki - I assume
Ah gotcha, cheers :)

Incidentally I fixed the dialplan problem with incoming calls on IAX,
I had the entry on public.xml and not default.xml so it didn't match
on the call.

Hi,
Just setup an IAX trunk from FS to a SIP provider who runs Asterisk,
but getting a truckload of distortion when I make calls. The
iax.conf.xml settings are as per the default.
I've turned debugging on but just wondered where would be a good place

Hello,
You'll need to write a script for FS in your choice of language - I
knocked together a quick demo for one in Lua the other week. Something
like this is possibly a good place to start: http://pastebin.freeswitch.org/5479

One of my neighbours wants to play with FS, and connect his existing
analogue PSTN line to it. What would anyone here recommend to do this?
Cheap and easy to configure as possible.. don't need a T1/E1 card or
anything silly :)

Hi gang,
Are there any calling card billing packages out there that are
compatible with Freeswitch? Obviously I've heard of a2billing, but a
recent forum thread suggests that it's going to be a while until it's
ported to work with FS (if ever).
Thanks,
Alex
Forgot to mention in that last email, I stumbled across something from
Cyneric (http://freeswitchbilling.net/) but the site seems a little
vague..

Hi all,
I've got a lua script that plays a sound file then listens for DTMF.
What I'd like to do is interrupt the sound file playback and process
the DTMF if the user starts entering digits whilst the sound file is
playing. At the moment they have to wait til the sound file has
finished
Thanks guys. I was using playAndGetDigits but I wanted to play two
pieces of audio then capture the digits. I could be less lazy and glue
the two files together, but, well.. you know.
Is there any way to play two audio files in Read?

I've been tinkering around with Freeswitch for a few days, and am
trying to figure out the best way build a voicemail server using
mod_voicemail. There'll be no SIP extension registration for the
moment, and all calls will come in via a SIP trunk from the PSTN.
I've got so far, but
