is not called pound because (I don't know if
this will come out on your screens correctly) we use £ for our currency.
I would refer to the # symbol as hash or just possibly the number
symbol.

the call with C I get back to the conference, and C appears to be
in the conference (hear him speak) but he gets music on hold.
What am I doing wrong?
