Hi all,

I know there are fans of GNU radio on this list, for the sake of
simplicity of writing DSP code which leaves room for those of us not
as well versed in the trade to experiment with Codec2.

I wrote a short blog article on how to abuse the GNU radio blocks to
soft decode 4FSK as if it was a QPSK signal (accepting some
trade-offs). I know this topic is well covered in books and internet
articles, including David's blog, but I could not find this approach
described anywhere else on the internet and since it seems a little
outrageous at first, I thought I might publish this for the benefit of
curious amateur radio people who like to experiment with Codec2 and
digital voice in every possible way.
Hopefully this is not seen as very offtopic here :)
