Out of curiosity...
are there any plans afoot to support 'cmap' format 14 (the variant
selector table)?

I've skimmed the specs but didn't look more closely. Do you
volunteer? It seems that we need a special interface for that, right?

I would think so... I haven't paid attention to freetype's 'cmap' code.
I'll look at it and see what I can do.

Using version 0.90 of this font, I see no problems with `ftview -e
unic'. However,
I could not reproduce the bug Ding Li reported.
How do you think using FT2_DEBUG if Ding Li kindly accepts recompile
FT2 with defining FT_DEBUG_LEVEL_TRACE?
You can compare debug output of yours and Ding Li's.

I found it in Windows Vista system. It's size is about 15Mb.
I don't have Vista.
Please check whether the problem exists with the simsunb.ttf file
which can be found with google on some Taiwanese hosts. I'll then
download it from there. Otherwise, I ask you for making it available
privately
I found that FreeType can not get the correct glyph index from the
font “Simsun-extb” corroding the Unicode of the character.
Where can I find this font?
