FWIW- I had to edit and remove the colon. I like to browse the shows from my
pc's on the network via smb and colons don't work that way.
I would recommend dropping that for compatibility.

I still have other issues with the joy plugin.
My gamepad doesn't work in any menu except the epg, and the buttons don't
work.
I've made freevo crash by hitting buttons during a DVD startup.

I have this problem with with record_daemon.py when, and only when, it kicks
off a record job. Regular operations (i.e., just reading old entries) are no
problem.
It does read the new entry, build the command properly, comment out the
entry, rewrite the file; but it does NOT start the record job.
