I did try to get Freevo 1.5.4 working with no luck.
I was able to get everything working but Watch TV.
It would simply go out to a black screen for a second and return back,
no errors in dmesg or the console. ONly something about run freevo cache
However, with 1.5.4 running freevo cache

I had a worse issue with Watch TV, and discovered that if the TV
card is not setup and working prefectly Freevo will barf. The going
back to a black screen problem sounds like your TV card is not setup
right yet under linux. can you watch TV just using TV Time? The proper
start order is
