I configured my channels using the following, but I'm still getting the
channels out of order, am I missing anything??

Maybe this is a silly question, but you did delete the
/var/cache/freevo/xmltv_channels.pickle file after adding these into
local_config, right?

Yes. I deleted the file, but I realized that I had to refresh my
TV.xmllistings to get everything in order again.
