I've been struggling to get xmame working in freevo. It works outside
of freevo just fine.
I have these in my local_conf.py file.
DIR_GAMES = [ ('MAME', '/usr/local/share/xmame/roms',
('MAME', '/usr/local/bin/xmame.x11', '-fullscreen -modenumber
6',
'/usr/local/share/xmame/shots', None))]
DEBUG = 1
I see the games in the menu, the "shots" display too. If I
select a game, the freevo screen disappers, the box stalls
for a few seconds, then returns to the freevo screen. I get
this in my log files.
Call MAME command : /usr/local/bin/xmame.x11
MameRomList has 4704 items.
Playing: /usr/local/share/xmame/roms/dkong.zip
Game_Thread::run: GAME OVER
force killing with signal 9
It appears as though freevo thinks the game is done before
it even starts.
How can I debug this? Any help is appreciated.
