AFAICS this is used only after appending a hash. And the name is determined by Aldor compiler: if Aldor can work with mixed case filenames, than Aldor in FriCAS should too. Yes. What Bill sees is clearly a bug, we should rather fix the bug than invent artificial restrictions. Although
