[fusionpro] RE: HELP with Fusion Pro Imposer

2007-08-23 Thread Lauren Nackoney
Yes, you should be able to do this with FP Imposer. In the layout tab, you'll
want to select 'Duplex Perfected' or 'Tumble Duplex' (there are pictures to
show you the difference between the two). Then use the 'Step and Repeat'
options at the bottom of the Layout tab to set up your 4-up.

Hi,
I have a 774 page pdf that I need imposed and sent to our press. They are
postcards with front, back, front, back, through out the 774 pages. I need
it 4 up on a 12x18 sheet and built in such a way that we can cut and stack
it in order. Can I do this with the Imposer?

Thanks

Dawn,

In the 'Step and Repeat' section, you'll want to have 'Stack' in the
first position and select 'Infinite Stack'. This will allow you to cut
and stack the postcards in order.

2007-08-23 Thread Bruce Granath
Dawn,

Sounds like you don't have your data defined yet. After you do that
(FusionPro/Data Definition/Wizard) there will be an Imposition tab in
the Composition Settings. Put a check in the 'Use Imposition checkbox
and browse to your imposition file.

Any chance you're recomposing your output file (the 774 page, not

Dawn,

Doesn't look like that's going to work at this time. I tested out a
couple files on my Windows machine and although I'm not getting any
errors, I'm also not getting an imposed file as my output contains only
one page per sheet. I'll test this on a Mac and then enter a case for
our engineers to look at. When I get the case number I will forward it
to you as a reference.
