[fusionpro] Re: FP 2.x Imposer Stack Issue

2007-08-14 Thread graham . lower
It's been a couple of months since your post. Any word of a fix?

Cheers.

Printable 4.x does not currently support stacking through ODBC
connections. I ran into the same problems last December, and was told by
support that it was a bug. At the user conference in March, I was told
that they were working on a fix.

My workaround has been to export from Access to text, and then stacking
works fine. Of course, this is an extra step in the workflow.

Eagerly awaiting the fix for this problem,

 Sorry - not 2.2 but 4.2

We are using FP 2.2 and have had this problem since moving off of 3.x. We
are a PC shop and run all of our jobs through ODBC from our mailing files
in Access. We had no issues with stacking in FPI in the previous version
but in 4 we cannot get it to work. Yes, we have tried to vary the order
of the stack/vert/horiz. Yes, we have tried the new infinite option.
NOTHING IS WORKING. Someone please help...

[fusionpro] Re: FP 2.x Imposer Stack Issue

2007-06-13 Thread Bruce Granath
Mark,

Just wanted to clarify that having stack in the third position is actually
unnecessary. Once you've selected the first two settings to be horizontal and
vertical, there is no other way to go but down so the stacking is done by
default.

From 3.2 to 4 if you had stack in the third column, it will not work -
have to change imposer to have stack as the first column...

Been there... done that...

[fusionpro] RE: FP 2.x Imposer Stack Issue

2007-06-12 Thread Lauren Nackoney
Richard,

Could you tell us more about the problem, such as what settings you have
selected in FP Imposer and how many records you're using? Also, are you
outputting to a single output file? Otherwise, you can send me your job and
I'll try it here. My email is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
