[fusionpro] Re: Fusion Pro and Xerox Igen with PPML
We have a DocUSP with a Fiery. So I imagine you won't be able to help me. After talking with second level support last night with Xerox I have lost all confidence I ever had in them. The person I spoke with should be a receptionist and not doing support. Thanks for you help if you can provide any. -- Users of FusionPro Desktop have unlimited free email support. Hello, Matt As Mort mentioned, PPML is the way to go for VDP on the Fiery. Please give it a try and let us know if you have any problems with it. --Mark Hilger Product Manager Printable Technologies, Inc. -- Users of FusionPro Desktop have unlimited free email support. Thanks for your help. It is kind of working. Everything is there but now my images are turned 90 degrees. All of the text is correct, it is just the variable image that is wrong. I am doing some more testing with that. I am trying to impose a 6.5 X 10 form on a 13 x 20 sheet. It works great if I make a pdf. The down side is that the PDF has been ripping for over an hour and is only at 10 percent. Thanks again for your help. Matt -- Users of FusionPro Desktop have unlimited free email support. I dont' know if your rip has this setting, but on ours, we had to check optimize PDF and 4 hour rips went to 15 minutes.. Matt, Fusion Pro unrotates images. You want to make sure that your input image in not rotated. Using PPML over PDF we went from 5 hours to 5 minute rip time. Mort Thanks for your help. I am also printing on an IGEN using Fusion Pro. I used the VIPP option in FP. I was going to try PPML. This might be a stupid question but how do I create a hot folder on the IGEN? [fusionpro] Re: Fusion Pro and Xerox Igen with PPML
Belive it's gonna depend on which rip you have and what it supports. We have a 6060 here with a (gag) Creo Spire rip and it handles PPML OK...
