Hi all,
I'd like to be able to determine if a module is already loaded. Is there
a way to do this?
I'd like to be able to do something like:
AddToFunc ToggleFvwmProxy
+ I Test (!ModuleRunning FvwmProxy) ModuleSynchronous FvwmProxy
+ I SendToModule FvwmProxy ShowToggle
Key F11 A A Function Toggl

What you have explained below is not an option for us. We can't assume the
location that they are putting it. I can't even assume that they have root
access or write permissions in /usr/local or /opt. Given this, do you have any
recommendations? I would be willing to create a script that goes in

I don't just want to move the location for the sake of moving it. The disk
layout of end system that will be using FVWM is unknown to me. I have no
knowledge of their filesystem layout and directory structure. I need to prepare
FVWM so that wherever they want to place it on their disk, it will w

The instructions for doing this properly are in another message.

More simply put, FVWM seems to embed its install location into itself which is
making it hard for me to do the following. If I was able to do the following,
my requirements would basically be satisfied:
tar xzf fvwm-2.5.10.tar.gz
cd fvwm-2.5.10
./configure --prefix=/opt/fvwm (or whatever options
We are using Solaris. We are using version 2.5.10. All of the machines run the
same version of Solaris and use SPARC processors. Some machines are being
deployed to and do not have compilers installed. Ideally, fvwm will be
installed into its own folder. This folder would then be copied onto a

Hi.
I want to have entries in the window menu for toggling
some aspects of the window like shading. I want this entry
to be named accodingly to the actual state of the window.
For instance, if the window is shaded, the menu entry
shuld be "Shade", otherwise "Unshade".
To solve this I am using dyn
In our setup of FVWM, we need to be able to copy the FVWM installation to other
machines where FVWM will be located in different places in the file system.
These machines do not have compilers in them and won't be able to build FVWM.
It seems that the installation location is inserted in several

hi all,
in the manual i found a variable $[desk.name X], where X is the desktop
number. It returns the name of X desktop. Is it possible to make a feature
that checks if $[desk.name] used without the desktop number specification it
will return the name of current desktop. Now i realize this thing
