This is not the concern of fvwm, so it depends on the dm, like Thomas said. You can just put "exec fvwm" on a file called .xsession in your homedir and then run "startx". Or you can use the suggestion from Leo for some dm (is it kdm? I have no idea...). Searching your dm's documentation is the way to go. I personally use qingy, which uses yet another method of storing the session info.. Cheers Renato
