i am an icewm user, but took a look to fvwm now. It is very impressing
what can be configured in fvwm. It seems that nearly everything is
possible. But this also is my problem. I do not dare to try fvwm because
it seems to be very much work to make it behave and look, like i want.

should be reanimated at the last position again when moving the mouse.

while experimenting with virtual desktop commands I have configured the
usual CTRL-ALT-CursorKey to move the screen to another page (GotoPage)
and also CTRL-RighWin-ALT-CursorKey to move the currently focused window
to a page and also go there. Therefore I use this function:
-transient
Note that this option does only work if the window style of the pager
window is style too.
What does this sentence mean?
When iconified, the pager will work as a fully functional current page
only pager.
Shouldn't this be current desktop only pager.?

through only one continous document. IMHO it would be much better to
split it into several sub pages. E.g. each of the paragraphs like
