it handles transparent elements very well.
However I use feh directly, without appeal to fbsetbg or any
another auxiliary program. In init I have:
+ I Exec feh --bg-scale /path/to/image.png

Hello Dominik,
Thanks for your instantaneous response to the problems I had noted
in my two previous messages.
It's support and dedication like this that makes fvwm stand
out among other software.
Best regards,
Rouben

This afternoon I played some with the FvwmScript module as
it comes with Fvwm 2.5.11. I noticed several inaccuracies
in the documentation plus one thing that seems to be a bug.
I have included my notes below.

Put your config file in:
/full/filename/of/systemwide/configfile
Then ask your users to put:
Read /full/filename/of/systemwide/configfile
in their $HOME/.fvwmrc.

the change affects all windows, not just the window that is
being maximized.
So my question is: is there a trick whereby I can change the
appearance of a titlebar buttons individually on different windows?

Each one (except the iconify button) acts as a toggle. When

Disadvantages:
o image quality of maximized images is better than xli but not as good as xv
o occasionally messes up transparency
o actually Eterm is supposed to handle pixmaps only, but it manages to work
with jpeg files too

On the other hand, if I execute Prev (XTerm) Focus via FvwmConsole,

Am I doing something wrong in what I have described above or should
I look for the source of the trouble somewhere else?
