Back wit my gimp menus problems. I found it. It was du to fvwm 2.5.6. After playing a lot following Dane's advices, I gave up, loaded 2.5.12, recompiled it (the Debian Sarge package crashes on my machine), and all is now correct. Thanks for answers, Dane. Fab.

Hello, all - This isn't an official announcement, but myself and Nick Fortune have been discussing [1] changing the default config file which is currently shipped with Fvwm. For many the styles and workings of it are too archaic for today's more 'modern' tastes. So we came up with our own
