We noticed the same problem (FTP Through firewall). I recently discovered that
the clients that failed were Windows XP or 2003. It was any Microsoft machine
with the Firewall enabled. Once I turned off the firewall (local Microsoft
firewall) it worked fine. As for why this behavior occurs, not
