Unplug the machine and remove the pram battery for 15 min and try
again...check the DVD CDroom jumpers for Slave or master and also is your
NEw memory is compatible with Apple if the FANS are spinning faster and you
see a red led light be side the power botton location...something is set up
wrong..

It was a problem with the RAM memory. Pairs are NOT installed beside
each other, there is a numbering sequence which was not obvious.
