I'm running Little Snitch.. I recently installed VMWare + Windows Vista. I also recently added the NAS server. This morning I have neither the NAS nor the VM active, and yet every few minutes LS asks me if I want to connect to something having to do with "netbios-ns". I give permission Until Quit, yet within minutes the windows are back again (for Safari, TextEdit and Finder.) Details are always showing the Parent Application (ie path always shows Mac apps or processes) I'm not wanting to deny access, but "netbios" -- is that not a Windows thing?
