I had a clamshell iMac and a client dumped coke all over it.
We shut down, removed the battery, and let the keyboard dry out.
It was fine, altho a tad sticky and kept some of the coke color in the
keys.

If it's a wireless keyboard --- be sure to remove the internal
batteries BRFORE the 'dishwasher' treatment!!;-)
