You have to enable Safari's Developer menu, and then you can choose from
a number of different user agent strings to make Safari identify itself
Good choice. You can also put a processor in that DA from a Quicksilver. The
video card is upgradable as well. Also, some of those eMacs didn't have very
good displays, especially for what you will use it for.

Thanks for your input. I believe you are right, and I've got 10 more of these
machines in here, I want to switch out on one of those, but the batteries
probably need replacing as well. They are all around the same age, older.

They are nominally 3.6 volts, but brand new ones will usually measure 3.68
volts,
This computer is not booting reliably, and now the display is so dark
you cannot see anything on the screen. A hing was broke, but I
repaired that and it was working prior to the hing repair. Any ideas?
