1) Check the batteries in the keyboard
2) re-pair the keyboard with the bluetooth
3) check it on another mac

If it's a USB bluetooth dongle, it's entirely possible that it just up
and died. They're pretty cheap, here
s one for $3 from Amazon

Re: airport card on g4 500 sawtooth agp

2010-10-01 Thread G-Group
i'm running OSX 10.4.6. and yes i've used the system profiler but it's
saying not found. do i use the OSX install disk using custom install
on the airport utility? cos i also re-installed the OS thinking
something might have been corrupted or missing but still getting same
results. a while back while doing a diagnostic on my computer it gave
me a directory error which i fixed using tech tool pro v4. but this
one's got me stumped. i know my card is still ok, at least i hope so.
but since the cost of the airport card's gone down i just ordered
another one today. thanks for the suggestions.

Re: Annoyance #23

2010-10-01 Thread Charles Davis
I did get a USB external FAX modem while trying to troubleshoot 'non-
operation' of the internal.
When plugged in, it works. but these bits of info. are WITHOUT an
external attached to the system.

The internal Apple Modem is a USB device, on the internal USB Buss.
[It's just permanently mounted inside the tower.

The problem, there is only ONE internal modem physically there.
Naturally, I would prefer the V.92 one to be what is there, but
where/what is the other info coming from?

Check ur USB ports. Altho it says it's 'internal' it calls it a USB
v.90
