Sleep is problematic in my experience. If you need to save power, have it hibernate instead. Hibernate is like a complete shutdown, no power being used, but the "reboot" is fast, and all your apps and windows are exactly like you left them. The only minor problem might be a lost Airport con

I really would love some help on this. I'm tearing out my hair. I am setting up a G4 iMac for my brother and it won't automatically sleep! Here are the specs: 17" screen 1.25GHZ G4 1GB ram 80GB hd upgraded DL DVDRW Superdrive Leopard 10.5.8 It was automatically sleeping until suddenly it wasn't.
