Thought I'd give this another try... Transferring iphoto files from my pismo to a g5. The pismo has iphoto 3 installed. The g5 has v.6 iphoto installed with the ilife 6 package. I burned the files onto cds using the burn feature on the iphoto 3. Today I think I was successful in impporting them

I use Carbon Copy Cloner. (CCC). It's free, and will do a total backup. I'm not sure how similar it is to Time Machine, but you CAN schedule backups with it. I use a Hackintosh with two 1TB hard drives, and everyday at 4am the main drive gets cloned onto the other drive. -Jonas -- You received
