I've got a MDD here on my desk, would it suffer ill affects, other than noise,
if I unplugged the fan (CPU) from the connector on the logic board and went
straight to the molex connector, plugged into the 12v side and ran that bugger
full tilt? can it be done? can

Dongles on ADB ports.
Don't get me started on the $2K dongles we need to use...

Apropos my comments about DIY: the dongles protect the software, not the
hardware. (at least normally)

He ‘s on the computer WY too much and I want to limit his time and
access.
I want him to have access ONLY from 4pm to 8pm Daily.
