Do a search for “stiction” and you’ll likely find that some folks will have 
declared that freezing their drive(s) caused the drives to spin up again long 
enough to retrieve the data on them. If all else fails, it’s worth a try. It 
worked once for me, FWIW.

Re: Antenna for wireless

Never mind what I said below about making an antenna (which I’ve made a number 
of for various satellite receivers and other set-top boxes that use a coax 
fitting for antennas. I was working off of faulty memory about the connector 
for the G5 antenna. What I’ve got is a G5 Power Mac tower Airport “T” antenna 
and a proper G5 tower bluetooth antenna. I’ve got the antenna and bluetooth 
cards, plus the 4 screws that hold them in place. I’ve also got an Airport 
Extreme card. Plus I’ve got 3 sets of the original Apple Mac Pro hard drive 
roundhead black screws.
