Many major brand routers ship with the generic "password" as the
password until you manually change it.

The card doesn't need a password, the WiFi network does, meaning what ever you 
have set up in your router / WAP.

Airport card password

Received an airport card for my G4 deck top mac and it installed OK
but it wants a pass word. I have tried all the ones I know. Is there a
place where the pass word is stored like in a plist? Thanks for any
