I have all aliases in the dock. About a month ago, I noticed the windos player
with a big question mark on it and it would not load windos player. Again about
2 weeks ago the TextEdit did the same thing. Today the DVD player has done it.
What is going on?

Periodically I get what looks like a file name on the desktop or in
folders but when I click on it it then disappears. I ran Disk Utility
and Repaired this HD's Permissions but it still happens.
What do I have to do to get rid of these things permanently?
