G4s can play 720p at the high end, but I wouldn't play 1080p on anything
less than a 2.5+ GHz G5. Even then it can be choppy if the bitrate is high.

I've used Front Row briefly, but not any of the others. I'm one of them
(still plays DVDs and physical media in a standalone player).

to be able to rip Blu-rays, but I could always use a G4 for my tiny
